FORT WAYNE, Ind., (Jan. 29, 2025) – In honor of National Be Elec-trific Day, Electric Works invites the Fort Wayne community to join a celebration on campus. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m on Tuesday, Feb. 11, kicking off with a news conference at 11 a.m.
This free event offers an exciting opportunity to discover new developments at Electric Works, engage with local businesses located on campus, with a focus on entrepreneurship, community health, and arts and culture.
Event Highlights:
● Vendor Showcase & 2025 Preview: Meet the dynamic tenants of Electric Works and Union Street Market and explore their offerings through interactive booths, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations. Get a sneak peek at the exciting new programs and changes coming to the Electric Works campus this year.
● Entrepreneurship Spotlight: Discover how Union Street Market is supporting local food and beverage entrepreneurs and helping businesses grow with resources, guidance, and opportunities.
● Health & Wellbeing Focus: Learn about initiatives that are advancing community health by increasing access to fresh, nutritious food, promoting healthy eating, and creating opportunities for active living.

● What: Discover What’s New at Electric Works on Be Elec-trific Day
● When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11. Formal remarks will kick off the event from 11 to 11:30, followed by a vendor showcase event with live music, with food and beverage available for purchase in the Union Street Market.

● Cost: Free and open to the public

Be Elec-trific Day is a day honoring the inventor of the light bulb, Thomas Edison, intending to inspire people to be inventive and creative by celebrating the spirit of innovation and the electrifying power of ideas.
