The Gift of Spice Cooking Series with Holly Sutter & Plowshares — Part 2: Chai, Please!

In our Indiana winter, we cherish the gift of spice in hot drinks. In this class, you will learn the art of making a traditional Chai tea. When warming spices such as ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and cardamom are slow simmered with milk and water, the end result is an elixir with the power to warm to the bone. You can expect to learn how to customize your own unique chai blend to your own health goals and taste, with a recipe to take away and copious amounts of chai available during the class. *The chai formula Holly uses is made with organic milk, honey, and is caffeine free.

This is a class from the 5-part series, The Gift of Spice, created by Functional Medicine Health Coach Holly Sutter, and hosted by Plowshares. This series is designed to educate and open our eyes to the range of everyday medicines in our kitchens. Spices contain powerful micronutrients called polyphenols. Polyphenols help us combat harmful free radicals, decreasing oxidative stress and inflammation. In this series, we will harness a range of spices available in our everyday lives to uplift, warm, and accentuate health.

Tickets are $50. Get 20% off when you register for all five classes with code: SeriesTickets — Register here!
