Historic McCulloch Park Walk

Experience the history of McCulloch Park through this history-themed walk, starting at the Electric Works campus over to McCulloch Park.

Walk Details: Enjoy a walk through McCulloch Park and learn about the past and present of this green jewel nestled in the city’s mid-19th century neighborhoods amidst industry and commerce and along two historically important transportation corridors. It’s a small Park with a complicated story where some secrets still lie buried.

About the Guide: Connie Haas Zuber is an amateur local historian and retired magazine editor and journalist. Zuber lives her love of our parks as a volunteer board member of Friends of the Parks of Allen County, Inc. She wrote about local history every chance she got for The News-Sentinel and Fort Wayne Magazine and is serving now as interim executive director of ARCH Inc., Fort Wayne’s historic preservation organization.
