BE A TOURIST IN YOUR OWN HOMETOWN

Make Electric Works a stop on your Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown adventure—and one of your musical destinations for this year’s music-themed celebration!

We’re filling Weigand Yard with live music throughout the afternoon, with three performances, a special guest appearance and one BIG surprise announcement at 3:30 PM that you’re going to want to hear in person. If live music in Fort Wayne means something to you, be in Weigand Yard at 3:30. We promise, this is one you don’t want to miss.

LIVE MUSIC IN WEIGAND YARD
12–1 PM | First Musical Set + Guest Appearance
1:30–3 PM | Tone Junkies
3:30 PM | BIG SURPRISE MUSICAL ANNOUNCEMENT
URB | Immediately following through 5 PM

Beyond the music, experience Electric Works through local stories, food and play. Grab a bite from one of the locally owned merchants at Union Street Market or a drink from Crane Bar, explore the campus, watch Electric Legacy: The Story of General Electric in Fort Wayne on the Stadium & Screen, and enjoy recreational activities in the historic GE Club Gymnasium for guests of all ages.

Enjoy FREE admission to 23 Fort Wayne museums and attractions throughout the day!

We’re so grateful to our friends at Visit Fort Wayne for hosting this incredible event and for always being such incredible cheerleaders for Electric Works and the many destinations that make Fort Wayne worth exploring. We’re proud to be part of a day that celebrates so much of what our city has to offer!

Be sure to stop by the Visitors Center at 927 S. Harrison St. to get your stamp and earn 20% off any purchase throughout the day! Want to plan your full day? Get your passport with information and times for all participating locations through the Visit Fort Wayne event page, or pick one up at select Kroger and Old National Bank locations around Fort Wayne.

And don’t forget to share your Be a Tourist photos using #BAT2026!
